Sprout Fine Floral Concepts is a family owned and operated design studio located in The Woodlands, Texas. Andy & Ann Engelbrecht created Sprout Fine Floral Concepts for people who LOVE flowers. Since our beginning in 2007 this little flower shop has been blessed. God is good!.  

The name Sprout is inspired by Job 14:7 a scripture about hope and the importance of never giving up faith in new beginnings.

"For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will SPROUT again, and that its shoots will not cease."

Sprout is recognized as: The Woodlands Best Florists 2011, 2013, 2014 & 2024 by Woodlands Online (they stopped having a florist catagory after 2014 fpr several years)

Owner and Lead Designer of Sprout Fine Floral Concepts, Ann Engelbrecht, has helped people convey their feelings through flowers for over 28 years. Artistic floral designs, considerate customer service and an unyielding quality standard are benchmarks of her career. Ann is a certified and award winning floral designer. She founded Society Stems, her first floral studio, in 1998. From that time until now, she secured and continues to enjoy a stellar reputation for creating arrangements for clients in The Woodlands community. Ann was chosen by Houston Magazine as "Face of the Woodlands " in 2024.

A dedicated supporter of education and community service, Ann represented the floral industry at Houston Home Expos, House Beautiful Showcases, The Texas State Fair, as well as many local garden and civic organizations. She was one of six featured designers at the 2003 Texas State Florists Association Convention. Ann proudly served on the Teleflora South Central Unit board of directors, Allied Florists of Houston board of directors and was Montgomery County American Business Woman (MCABW) Education Chair & honored in the MCABW distinguished ladies calendar twice!  Sprout actively volunteers our services to YES to YOUTH, The VEL Institute, The Woodlands Rotary Club, and many other charity organizations by designing for their fundraising activities.

Ann's designs have been published in Florist Review, a floral trade magazine, ABC13, syndicated online show "More in Common",Community Impact, The Villiager, The Conroe Courier, The Houston Chronicle and other industry magazines.

Remarkable style, beauty and attention to detail are trademarks of all floral designs created at Sprout.  Each design showcases the refined taste and sophisticated style that clients expect when choosing an exceptional florist or searching for ’that something special' for family, friends, and business associates.
